Meet the Founders of Faithful Foundations Learning Center

At the heart of Faithful Foundations Learning Center are two women driven by a shared commitment to faith, family, and community. Emily Sollenberger and Abby Howard met in 2017 at Vertex Inc., where they quickly bonded over their professional journey as they onboarded together. Their friendship deepened, and as their families grew and their paths became even more intertwined. It was through these shared experiences that the vision for Faithful Foundations began to take shape.

Emily Sollenberger: A Passion for Family and Community

Emily is a dedicated mother of four, raising children aged 9, 7, 5, and 1 in a home filled with love, energy, and a few furry companions—a Bernese Mountain Dog and a stray cat that recently blessed the family with three kittens. Beyond her role as a mother, Emily is a Senior Manager of Inside Sales at Vertex Inc., where she leads a team with the same dedication and care she brings to her family.

Emily’s roots in the Owen J. Roberts School District and her upbringing in Coventryville United Methodist Church have deeply influenced her values, which are centered on faith, community, and service.

Emily’s husband, Colin, shares her commitment to their community, working for East Coventry Township and helping to operate his family’s French Creek Farm. Together, they strive to create an environment where their children can thrive, not just academically but spiritually and emotionally—a vision that extends to the mission of Faithful Foundations.

Abby Howard: A Devotion to Faith and Giving Back

Abby is the proud mother of a one-year-old boy and shares her life with her husband, Chad, and their dog, Dixie. A graduate of West Chester University with degrees in Finance, Business Administration, and Marketing, Abby has built a successful career at HubSpot, where she currently serves as an Enterprise Account Executive. 

Outside of her professional life, Abby’s passion for helping others shines through her involvement in Smiles for Abby, a nonprofit organization she helped launch. This organization provides support and care packages to young adults recently diagnosed with cancer, a cause close to Abby’s heart. She also serves as the Treasurer of the nonprofit, ensuring its continued impact.

Abby and her husband, Chad, are active members of Connection Church, where they contribute to the spiritual growth of the community’s children through their involvement in the church’s ministry programs. Abby’s life is a testament to her dedication to family, faith, and service—a dedication that she brings to her role at Faithful Foundations.

Building Faithful Foundations Together

The journey to founding Faithful Foundations has been a deeply personal and rewarding one for both Emily and Abby. Their vision for the learning center grew out of a desire to create a place where children are not just another number but are seen, loved, and valued as individuals. Together, they have built Faithful Foundations as a reflection of their shared Christian values, where the love of Jesus is at the heart of everything they do.

For Emily and Abby, Faithful Foundations is more than just a learning center—it’s a legacy. It’s a place where they can give back to the community that has shaped them, where children can grow both academically and spiritually, and where parents are true partners in their child’s education.
